The Aston Clinton Charitable Foundation (Registered Charity Number 1150745) was formed in 2012 by a group of local people to help support our community. We have children at Aston Clinton School and are involved with other village organisations and appreciate that they need help to raise the funds they need to continue the good they do.
People and Responsibilities
The Foundation was formed in 2012 by 4 people who begged, borrowed and dug into theitr own pockets to put on the first ever Aston Aston Clinton Beer Festival.
The first forur Trustees of the Aston Clinton Charitable Foundation were:
This year Lesley and Mike took a step back from the day to day running of the festival to spend more time with their young family. Their hard work since the festival started has been instrumental on making the event what it is today, so we owe a huge amount of gratitude to them for everything that they've helped us to achieve.
So, the team has changed for 2017 and the current Trustee committee is as follows:
David Culliton - Chair - Overall responsibility for the running of the festival, cider procurement, out of region beer procurement, cellaring and Health and Safety.
Kathryn Sykes - Deputy Chair - Artwork, Procurement, Licensing, Legals and Token Kiosk.
Andrea West - Treasurer - Keeps hold of our purse strings with a grip of steel!
Lynne Culliton - Secretary - Food Concesssions, Kids Entertainment, Staffing and keeping everyone else in check!
Other vital Committee Members are:
Andrew "Max" Smith - Web, IT, Local Beer Procurement and Quality Control email@example.com
Ian West - Sponsors and Advertising, Local Beer Procurement and Quality Control firstname.lastname@example.org
Joe Hoinville - Site Set Up, Logistics, Bloody 'ard Graft and Quality Control email@example.com
Donna Ray - Being very, very nice to loads of temperamental performers and getting them to play for us for next to, if not completely, nothing.
This core team is supported by an army of dedicated volunteers, who give up days of their free time to put the event together, tidy things up at the end and serve you at the bar.
Without them the festival would not be possible.
Drink Aware Campaign
While the aim of this event is to raise
funds we would not want to do so at
the risk of your health or safety.
We therefore support the Drink Aware
Campaign. For hints and tips of how
to enjoy the festival safely please
